Collectively, the goal of this workshops is to teach the basics of musculoskeletal ultrasound in a concise and efficient manner in order to get novices started scanning quickly. Since the success of musculoskeletal ultrasound relies on technique, HAI have detailed the various steps of how to perform an ultrasound examination for each joint with normal sonographic anatomy. Musculoskeletal ultrasound is both tricky and satisfying. Knowledge of anatomy is essential as is the development of a skilled ultrasound technique. When used for the proper indications, musculoskeletal ultrasound has a clear-cut role in the medical field.
