This workshop will provide public hospital Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) with the required skills and competences to manage and control government's finances demands in conformance with the Public Financial Management Act (PFMA) and other relevant legislations. This course will ultimately expose CEOs to the complexity of financial management and inspire them through the application of theory and personal experiences to effectively and efficiently to apply a strategic approach to the management and control of finances.

Dr. Reginald Broekman (MB. BCh, MBA, M. Phil)
Dr. Reg Broekman has over five (5) years experience as Chief Eexecutive Officer, 3 years experience as CEO for Chris Hani Baragwaneth Hospital plus 2 years experience as Chief Executive Officer (Chief Director) - Medico-legal Services and Forensic Pathology for Gauteng Department of Health. His experience swells further to a 10 years experience as a health management lecturer to post-graduate health professionals at the University of the Witwatersrand. Dr Broekman is a qualified facilitator, assessor and moderator with the Education training and Development Practices Sector Education and Training Authority (EDTP-SETA) Dr. Broekman have a wide range of teaching experience, which includes tutoring various learners from all levels from mainly senior public servants in a variety of government departments.
The Registration fee includes 2 day workshop, Snacks, refreshments, learning material, certificate of attendance.

All cancellations must be communicated to HAI office in writing for the particular booking to be automatically rescheduled for the next workshop/ training/ course or preferably send a substitute who holds an authorisation letter from the previously registered client.
