CPD Points: 10
Venue: Protea Hotel Centurion - Pretoria

Health Care Professionals are accountable not only to the people they serve, but also to the laws and regulations posed by the South African Government. It is thus imperative that they stay up to date with the current laws regulating medical practices and remedial measures in South Africa as well as any future possible amendments or updates that may be made to these laws.

Therefore, in this course important topics related to LEGAL MEDICINE, MEDICAL NEGLIGENCE and LITIGATION IN MEDICAL PRACTICE will be highlighted. Legalities pertaining in medical practice dentistry, and medical ethics as well as issues of concern to health professionals (medical doctors, dentists, professional nurses, and other health professionals) will be addressed.

The course brings together the clinical negligence health care community to learn, discuss and formulate ideas on the latest developments, policies and strategies in clinical negligence, medical law and all medical related professions to reinforce professional growth and promote quality service delivery.
